It can preserve the week you expected and place it beside the week you recorded.
- Where your Plan and Reality differed.
- Which parts of the comparison you say matter.

What this week cannot tell you
- Whether retirement will suit you.
- What your first year without work will feel like.
- Whether your money works.
- Why a difference happened.
- Whether a number means you have a problem with purpose, identity, health, routine or relationships.
How the comparison works
The page measures only what you enter. It does not infer a story from the result.
- Five rows show Plan, Lived and the signed numeric difference.
- Headspace shows your expected worry and chosen outcome without inventing a number.
- All six rows stay in the same order. Nothing is ranked, coloured as good or bad, hidden or preselected.
- Your notes are shown back in your own words and are not interpreted.
- You choose up to three parts that matter, or say that nothing stands out yet.
- In Local mode, no Rehearsal value is sent to us.

Common questions
- Is this a retirement-readiness test?
- No. There is no score, benchmark, pass or recommendation. The page compares your sealed Plan with the Reality you enter for one week, then asks which parts matter to you.
- Can one week show whether I will enjoy retirement?
- No. A leave week has a return date, carries the weeks before it and cannot contain seasons or long-term change. It gives you context-bound observations about this week, nothing more.
- Why exactly seven days?
- The product uses seven consecutive days so one span can include usual workdays and usual days off without becoming a long diary. That is a design boundary, not a scientifically validated duration.
- Does a higher number mean better?
- No. More open time, contact, movement, project blocks or spending can be welcome, unwanted or irrelevant. The receipt stays neutral and you choose the meaning.
- What happens to my notes?
- They stay in this browser and are not sent to us. Printing and JSON create copies you control. Anyone using this browser profile may be able to open the Rehearsal, and JSON files are not encrypted.
- Can I continue on another device?
- Download the JSON file, move it yourself and import it on the other device. The copy in this browser does not move with you.
- Can I change the Plan after I see Reality?
- Not without resetting Reality. The original Plan is the comparison. Reopening it after Reality begins clears Reality and the reflection so the next comparison stays honest.
- Can I share a result link?
- No. Rehearsal answers never go into the page address or a public share card. Download the JSON for your own backup or print the report.
- What if nothing stands out?
- Choose Nothing stands out yet. You do not need to invent a lesson. Complete the report as it is, or repeat later only if a different week could answer a new question.
- What should I use for the financial side?
- Use the Exit Calculator for the road to the number, The Three Endings for market and lifespan risk, and Living off it for selling, cash, tax records and bad markets. The Rehearsal does not test whether the portfolio survives.
